Mr. Melling has over 15 years of corporate finance and capital markets experience in the mining sector. Mr. Melling joined New Gold in 2011, and manages the Company’s treasury functions, including corporate finance, risk management and insurance, cash management, commodity and foreign exchange hedging, and metal sales and marketing. Prior to joining New Gold, Mr. Melling worked in equity research at Scotiabank, and as an engineer in the nuclear energy industry. Mr. Melling holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
