The Blackwater Project is on the northern flanks of Mt. Davidson in the Nechako Plateau, approximately 160 kilometres southwest of the city of Prince George and 110 kilometres southwest of the town of Vanderhoof, in Central British Columbia. The project is approximately 450 kilometres north of New Gold’s New Afton Project. The Blackwater project, currently in the Environmental Assessment phase, comprises 75 mineral tenures totaling 305.78 square kilometres. The entire Blackwater properties total 232 mineral claims covering an area of 1,058 square kilometres. All properties are 100% owned by New Gold. The project is attractively located and is near infrastructure, the terrain is characterized by rolling hills, the project is accessible by road and access to low cost hydroelectric power is available with the construction of a 230kV transmission line.
