Amapari Careers

The Amapari Gold Mine was successfully commissioned in the second half of 2005. The project comprises an open pit mine and heap leach plant for exploitation and processing of gold ore at a capacity of 2.5 Mt/a.

The mine is located in the Vila Nova Greenstone Belt, part of the Guiana Shield that covers the northern part of Brazil, parts of the Guianas and extends northwest into eastern Venezuela.

Amapari Mines currently employs 470 people including 361 employees and 109 contractors. At Amapari, we understand that people are the ones responsible for providing valuable competition in the market and therefore they will ensure the continued success of the company.
