Summary

POSITION TITLE:

Reliability Engineer

POSITION SCOPE:

Working a 9 day fortnight Roster, the Reliability Engineer will report directly to the Mill Manager.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key areas of responsibility for this position (include but are not limited to the following):

  • Gather and examine asset data from a range of sources including SCADA, CMMS, fleet management and other systems
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operational team members to identify opportunities, current practices and leverage expertise
  • Facilitate incident and asset review workshops including 5-Why, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Implement small projects and initiatives including preparation of scope documents, liaising with vendors and managing execution
  • Review maintenance and operating strategies, develop supporting procedures, optimise inventory management and implement through SAP
  • Implement, maintain and interpret condition monitoring methods and results
  • Provide planning assistance and guidance on major works, budget forecasts and resource requirements

 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent diploma with trade experience
  • Intermediate competency in statistics and basic calculus
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Powerpoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including writing technical reports and project documents
  • Experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) tools and software
