Vancouver, B.C., October 30, 2002 --- DRC Resources Corporation (DRC -- TSX Venture) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian M. Beardmore, C.A., as Chief Financial Officer effective October 29, 2002.
Mr. Beardmore has been a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of B.C. since 1972 and is presently in public practice. We would like to welcome Mr. Beardmore with his extensive accounting background as a valuable addition to the Company.
C. Robert Edington will remain as a Director of the Company but has resigned as CFO. The Company would like to thank Mr. Edington for performing his role as CFO in the past and look forward to his continuing contribution as a Director.
DRC Resources Corporation is a publicly traded natural resource company with its head office in Vancouver and a field office in Kamloops, B.C.. The main focus of DRC Resources is the exploration of the Afton Copper-Gold Project located in the Kamloops Mining Division.
